…my digital playground

About Me

Born in Romania during the Communist dark age, I am a passionate photographer who love to travel and to use good quality gear, especially for low light photography. Photography is my way to express and deepen my relationship with visually appealing parts of my surroundings, including here the places I’m enough lucky to visit. I found that Nikon suits perfectly my photographic needs and I am a happy user of their products. While using mostly digital stuff, recently I had a fresh restart on 35mm film and I get lots of excitement from this, of course without abandoning the digital.

My life experience includes engineering, journalism, branding, Christianity, website development, leadership development and of course photography! I’m a freelancer and now I’m mostly involved in photography, in communication and volunteering for some NGO’s when and where they need me.

I love to live a life full of significance and my Christian faith helps me a lot in this matter.

This particular project is an initiative aiming to reflect the way I see the world through my lens. Some of the pictures were taken from a moving car, sometimes behind a dirty window or in poor light situations. This is part of reality and I felt the impulse to show it as is, without cosmetics. I do not claim that this is “art”… I rather say that this is a particular perspective or a personal worldview. In connection with my former journalistic experience I prefer a PJ approach, either for various events, for street, documentary or travel photography. I’m passionate to shoot people and to put them in a good light.

I was blessed to travel in different parts of the world on three continents, including here USA, UK, Greece, Crete, Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, Latvia, Egypt, Ukraine and so on. I was enriched by everything I saw and I learned and I’m constantly challenged to keep open my eyes towards new things.

Last but not least I want to express my thanks for your visit and I want to challenge you to not leave this website without to include a note or a comment if you like my work.
